Frequently Asked Questions
How can we help?
What does a physical therapist do?
Physical Therapists work with people looking to achieve long term physical health. We use treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.
How long is each physical therapy session at Park North Physical Therapy?
We at PNPT like to take the time to get to know our patients and really see how they move. Ideally, we ask our clients to plan at least an hour for each session.
How do I know if my insurance covers physical therapy services?
We will check with your health insurance provider to determine if outpatient physical therapy services are covered under your plan. We work with most major insurance companies.
I have a busy schedule and always short on time. How many physical therapy visits will I need?
We won’t know how many sessions will be needed until we do a thorough assessment. We have early morning, late evenings and Saturday hours to accommodate busy schedules and will work to be as efficient as possible.
Why would I live with pain when there's a good chance going to PNPT would get rid of it?
Exactly.
Do I need a doctor's referral to start physical therapy?
No. You can receive Physical Therapy without a prescription through ‘Direct Access’. Most commercial insurance companies cover care provided through direct access – we will check to confirm your plan covers direct access.
How Does the Four-Session Money-Back Guarantee Work?
Eligible self-pay patients can complete four qualifying physical therapy sessions with a money-back guarantee. You may qualify if we are out of network with your commercial insurance plan and previous physical therapy did not improve your condition.
Your treatment may include NEUBIE Therapy when clinically appropriate. If your condition does not improve after completing the four sessions, you may receive a 100% refund.
Eligibility and guarantee terms are reviewed before treatment begins. Call 212-222-6525 or contact our team to learn more.
